Hey guys! I'm rewriting a RolePlay me and my best friend wrote about Harry Potter. If you don't like the way I've changed a few things, please don't get mad! Just think of it as an AU. It's a bit different. For one of the main characters, I did use a last name from the book series Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan (Piper McLean) but this is because this story ties into those books. The story I'm rewriting ties into many different fandoms later on. Another main character's name was taken from the mobile lane game Vainglory (Koshka). Hope you like it!

Kenzie's fingers clumsily tore at the letter as she tried to open it. Finally getting it open, she hastily pulled out the sheet inside and unfolded it, hoping that it was what she thought it was.

Dear Miss McLean,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

"Mum!" Kenzie shouted running into the living room, clutching the letter, without even taking the time to finish reading it.

"Mum, I got my letter!!"

"Yes, dear, I see, we'll go to Diagon Ally some time later," Mrs. McLean said, waving her daughter off. Kenzie growled, and almost threw the letter at her mother, but held back, for fear that her mother wouldn't let her go to Hogwarts.

Koshka's deep brown eyes searched for the wand store, Olivander's. Gwen pointed to it, and looked at Koshka with excitement. Their very own wands! It was hard to even believe the two neighbors had gotten their letters.

Gwen pulled at her father's robes. "Papa, can we get our wands next? Please?" Mr. Sanchez chuckled, and ruffled his daughter's dark brown hair. "Yes, sweetie, of course."

Koshka smiled as Gwen took her hand and they ran to the shop, bumping into several people on the crowded cobblestone path.

Kenzie nervously pushed open the doors in the wand shop, jumping when she bumped into two other girls. One of them had short, dark brown hair, that was messy as if someone had ruffled it up, and she hadn't bothered to fix it. The other girl had deep brown eyes, and long brown hair, the same color as the other girl's, but longer, almost down to her knees, with royal blue ends.

"Oh, sorry, mate!" Kenzie said smiling. "Are you first years?" They nodded, and Kenzie responded with the same happy expression as before. Maybe they could be her friends. "Nice, I am too!" she said. "Guess I'll see you at Hogwarts!" And with that she walked around them towards the robe shop, examining her wand carefully.

12 inch, aspen wood, with dragon heartstring. It was light green, with white, swirly patterns scattered across it. She couldn't wait to show it to her older brother, Thomas. Where was he anyway?
