Summary: Every night he expects her, wanting her to fill the void in his heart.
Every night she comes, waiting for him. Waiting with the blood of the souls she couldn't save encrusted into her heart, invisible mask on. And every night he expects her, wanting her to fill the void in his heart. The void caused by the death of his entire family in one night, the void caused by years of detachment and lust for power.
He ravages her like the lives he had taken in his blind quest for revenge, strips her down and fucks her. In between the wild kisses and moans, he does realize something. He loves her, just like she loves him.
They like night, because she can feel pleasure without any qualms, without seeing tears or heartbreak, and he can feel whole again. But in the day, it is all gone. She leaves him, and he never stops her. She leaves him because she can't stand the sight of the man she loves without any emotion in his eyes, without a soul. She of course, isn't aware that his soul is slowly being put together, a million piece puzzle, through her healing touch. So he awakes to find a cold bed, and the smell of sorrow.
One day though, he will stop her. He will thread his fingers into her silky pink hair and declare himself to her forever. Not yet though. Just not yet.
