No, this is not a story, but DONT CLOSE THE PAGE. If you are as much of a fangirl as I am you are going to want to see this. If you are more of a fangirl than me you probably know about this already. I was curious about when the trailer for Insurgent is coming out so I googled "Insurgent News", this is what I found...
"According to Entertainmentwise, the film will introduce a character — Edgar, played by Jonny Weston — that will cause a rift between Tris and Four. "
This means that they have added a love triangle between Edgar Four and Tris. I don't know about you, but I am totally flipping out. Love triangles are totally stereo typical it was one of the long list of things I liked about the Divergent series. They are now turning this into a twilight and hunger games, not that I don't like he hunger games, but I dislike Katniss's love life. However, I know there will be some of you that will like this "tweak" in the film, but if this didn't make you upset what I am about to say next probably will...
"You have to honor the material for the first film because you have a fan base, but when you come to the second one, if you've done well with the first movie, you now have the ability to think outside the box," Theo James
I have an issue with this. If I don't like the second movie I'm not going to buy It no matter how good the first one was, I really don't care. I get the think out of the box thing but you have to stay within the outer box you don't get to go outside that point or you are going to lose the obsessive fans that came from the book series. Also if people don't like Insurgent there will be less people that want to see Allegiant. The whole reason why summit is good at making movies off of young adult books is that they change very few things from the book.
I know everyone has their own opinion on things. Some of you guys might be jumping for joy because of this change. Anyways please review. I want to see how you guys feel about the love triangle with Edgar and Theo's comment.
