Knights of the Old Republic: Revan's Tears

A man and woman, their footprints in the sand trailing behind them. They turn to face a young child, tears endlessly flooding her small and fragile features. A young man wearing a councilman robe, held the young girl back with the pressure of his hands on her shoulders.

The young girl could make out gentle lines of tears down her mother's face; all the while her father held her mother in his arms. Her mother spoke once with her soft felt voice, saying: "Be good Revan, mommy loves you..."

"Mommy where are you going? Mommy?! Please come back mommy!" Revan yelled between tears; watching, waiting, and listening, for the footsteps of her beloved mother and father.

Watching from the distance, her mother's tears collapsing against her pale cheeks. "I'm so sorry, my child; I am truly sorry..." With that being her last words, her broken voice dispersed.

The memories fading into the distance along with their figures, their tracks covered by nothing more than endless lumps of sand.

After several long moments, the young councilman led the child away, away from her homeland, the world of her childhood memories, where she had been brought into this world.
