Frozen Heart

Hearts frozen in absolute zero

Unbreakable even with the strongest force

Unsellable even with the wealthiest bribe

Unmeltable even with the fiercest passion.

Icy cold hearts that stopped all time

And that stopped all love.

That day, that fateful day,

When Sho threw her out

And damaged her fragile heart,

Her heart has been frozen—

So frozen that even the fires of hell

Or even her very own bright soul—

Couldn't thaw the frosted thing…

Her love, her emotion, her everything

Was stuck in the temperature

Where nothing could move.

Even time seemed to be taken away

As she stayed in the past

When that man didn't throw her out of his life yet

And her heart wasn't frozen

But was gentle and kindled

A spark of fire that tenderly

And brilliantly brightened their day.

The time when everything seemed perfect

And the peaceful bliss brought

Good cheer every day.

But now, the fire was gone

Replaced by bitter cold wind

That mockingly shrieked with laughter.

Her heart was frozen

And along with hers,

Theirs soon followed

And frosted over.

Yet it was strange…

Despite her heart freezing over,

Her spirit was still beautiful…

Except the beauty was delicate and ephemeral…

As if despite being so strong and frozen,

It was also fragile and warm…

She shined in a different way to him now…

But then again

She was and is always beautiful to him…

Almost as if…

Oh.

He understood why his heart was still warm,

Why he always kept his eyes on the girl,

Always found her beautiful,

No matter what,

He loves her.

With the thought of those

Three little words,

He wonders if he could melt

Absolute zero with his newfound love

And bring the warm spring

Back to her heart…

And start her internally stopped clock

To tick on towards a new day

And a new love.
