A/N: This idea formed in my mind while listening to SleepWalker with a Gun by Nekromantix than it evolved from there. This first chapter is kinda short. Enjoy.
Neru woke up sitting against a damp wall in dark, moldy room lit by several small candles, a metal framed mirror sat in the far corner. Neru looked around mumbling, "where am I?" She placed her hands on the lice infested carpet to pick herself up. "Why does my head hurt?" she rubbed her head. Neru noticed the walls glistened slightly. "What is this?" she looked at the wall more closely and quickly back away from the blood stained wall. The walls seemed to push and pull on themselves. Fear quickly began to grip Neru's heart. Unconsciously, she picked up a spoon to defend herself.
Neru froze, six yellow eyes peered at her through the mirror. The creature's grotesque maw opened revealing rows of needle-like teeth. The monstrosity's clawed hands gripped the mirror's frame, ripping itself free. Neru screamed, scrambling to find a way out. Its disgusting, decaying mass of a body flopped on the carpet, oozing noisome tar-like fluids. Tears streamed down Neru's face, "I don't wanna die. I don't wanna die. I don't wanna die." she repeated to herself. The creature shrieked as it slithered toward Neru, each movement painful to the eyes and ears. It raised a twisted claw in the air. Neru slipped on a puddle of blood and fell face first. She picked herself up but before she could stand the creature's claw slashed through thigh muscle and pinned her through the kneecap. Neru screamed in pain, nearly passing out.
Steaming blood soaked into the already wet carpet, Neru's strength leaving with it. The horror opened its maw, dark drool trickled out of its rotten mouth. Neru reached ahead, fingers just out of reach of the doorknob. She turned around as she could and jammed her spoon into the monstrosity's arm. It reeled back, screeching. The horror nursed its arm and retreated into the mirror. Neru dragged herself to her feet, where she limped out of the room using the walls for support.
A/N: So that is my very Lovecraftian tale and in time all will be explained.
