This is a little something that I came up with while I was "studying" for my math exam. I do not own any character from this fan fiction, nor do I own any of the pieces of work that J.R.R Tolkien has written.




He loved her with all his being
But it was a love that could never be
A Ranger in love with an Elf
A forbidden thing

When they would part
There passion would grow with each passing day
The Elves father gave the Ranger doubts
He made him question his love
A dark shadow soon encircled his still beating heart

She gave up everything she knew for him
But he could not do the same
He left with the Fellowship
She left for the Undying Lands

She still felt his love
But he did not
She loves him without question
He cannot say the same
