1 A love that lasts forever
As Stephanie sat backstage she felt a little uneasy. She knew this was the night the script said hey and Paul were to break up. She knew this relationship was just a storyline, but she spent so much time with him that she grew to really love him. She really hoped he felt the same way. So she got up and went to go look for him. While walking through the halls she bumped into Andrew.
Andrew: Why Steph it seems you have yet another relationship to get out of tonight. Am I right?
Steph: Maybe you are, maybe you aren't.
Andrew: What's that supposed to mean?
Steph: You'll see.
Steph says with a slight grin. Finally Steph finds Paul getting a coffee. She asks for a word and leads him into an empty locker room. They sit on a couch.
Paul: Steph, what's wrong?
Steph: Well we both know that we have to break up tonight. But the truth is…
Paul: Yeah.
Steph: Well the truth is… "I Love You! I truly love you.
Steph then breaks down and begins to cry. Paul wiped a tear away from her face. He loved her face and everything else about her.
Paul: Steph really it's ok. There is something I wanted to tell you.
Steph sniffles Yeah.
Paul: I love you with all my heart and soul. But now I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Stephanie Marie McMahon, will you marry me?"
Paul pulls out a solid gold ring with a HUGE diamond on it.
Steph: Oh Paul I was hoping you would say that. Yes! Yes I will marry you.
Paul looks as if he has gotten the biggest thing off of his chest. They both take part in a very passionate French kiss. But still the worst part is to tell Vince. How will he take it?
Stephanie and Paul walk hand in hand down the hall attracting stares as they walked. They reached Vince's office. Steph gently knocked on the door.
Vince: Come in.
Stephanie opened the door and she and Paul walked in. They both sat down. There was an okward silence.
Vince: Do you two have something you want to talk to me about?
Steph: Well yes we do but daddy…
Vince: Steph just tell me.
Steph: Well…um…Paul and I are getting married.
Vince: WHAT!
Stephanie looks to the ground, as does Paul.
Steph: But we love each other and we want to spend the rest of our lives together.
Vince: Well all I can do is wish you love.
Stephanie runs and hugs her father
Steph: I knew you would understand.
He ushers the two lovebirds out and sighs
Vince: I hope they know what they're getting into.
Vince says as he looks at his own wedding ring.
After Paul and Steph left Vince's office Paul picks Steph up and carries her to his l/r. He opens the door and carries her in. He shuts the door with his foot and kisses her forehead before placing her on the couch. He sits down next to her and stares into her beautiful eyes. He could hardly contain himself she looked so beautiful as always. He slowly leaned over and locked lips with her. Their tongues danced in each other's mouths. Steph felt a wave of heat flush though her body. She brushed a hand against his cheek then draped her arms his neck. They broke the kiss and she rests her head on his shoulder. She takes in his loving scent.
Steph: I love you so much, Hun.
Paul: Not as much as I love you.
He slowly to kiss her neck. She threw her head back and moaned his name.
Steph: Paul I love you so much.
Paul: baby our love is like none other. Through thick and thin, our love will last forever.
And with those finally words her kissed her with more passion and love then her ever had before.
