If I was Asked Today

In Memory of the Martyrs for Christ.

If I was told today

I could willingly die for my Jesus

Or live and deny

Would I say yes

I believe?

Or would the fear of pain or death

Stay my voice?

Or would the fear of the unknown

Accelerate my heart?

Or for the love of the pleasures

Of this world would

I bite my tongue?

Would I be willing to leave my family

And friends to be a witness for Jesus?

Or would my courage completely

Crumble?

If I was asked today if I would die

For my faith.

How Would I answer?

Could I honestly say,

Without tremble or tremor,

Yes

I

Will?
