"Sadie, you ok?"Anubis asked, looking up from the box in his hand. I twisted my fingers into knots not meeting his eyes.
"Yeah,um...i'm fine just thinking." I replyed simply looking up from the stones beneath my feet. "About what?" He asked curiously. "Would you mind if I said you?" I asked back."No not really,but do you mean it?" He whispered leaning forward his warm breath brushing my cheek.
"Of course I mean it-" I was cut off by Anubis' lips crashing to mine. You would think being the god of funerals and all his lips would be like ice. They were everything but cold. His tongue brushed against my bottom lip. I began to pant from the intensity of the kiss. I pulled away. "Uh...I should probably go Carter will be waiting."I said,turning away from him opening a portal.
"Wait Sadie I got you something for your birthday." Anubis called from behind me. "What?" I asked completly stunned. "Here." He said,Handing me the box he was holding. I opened the box to see a small necklace with the seal of Anubis as a pendant."Do you mind?"I whisered holding it up. "Be careful Sadie as long as you're wearing this I can find you."He said
"This is beautiful,"I said brushing my lips to his."But Carter is waiting.I love you bye." I whispered stepping into the portal.
