The gang had all been training all day, trying to make progress with the new Hard Metal System beyblades, but none had been made. Tyson, Daichi, Ray and Max kept trying over and over to control the new blades but they always defied and refused to be controlled.

Back to when the earth, the sun, the stars all aligned
The supposedly 'great' and 'awesome' hard metal beyblades were really a handful. The harder the guys tried to control them, the harder it was.

But everyone stuck with it. Tyson and Daichi ran off into the woods to do some training, while Ray and Max remained at the camp, when suddenly Tyson had a different thought…

"Remember the first time we ever launched a blade, Daichi? And how we couldn't even control it at all?" Tyson asked.
"Yeah, I remember! Mine just wouldn't spin! I remember, my dad built me my first blade."
"Yeah. And look how far we've come. And even though these blades seemed so perfect when Chief gave us the first one, heh, they're not, right? A blade that I can't even launch definitely doesn't seem perfect to me."
"Yeah!" Daichi screamed. "I can't believe a beyblade is getting the better of me, Daichi the Great!"

"Very funny. What I'm saying is maybe we should remember when we first launched our first blades…" Tyson trailed off.
"…And try and do the same thing here! Like we're learning how to blade for the first time all over!" Daichi excitedly finished, jumping up and down in the air a few times.
"Yeah…"
They both thought back for a while and then…
"3, 2, 1…LET IT RIP!" They both shouted at the same time, launching their blades. And to their amazement, the blades actually stayed on course this time.
"Wow, that was different!" Daichi shouted.
"Yeah, the way we were thinking about the whole situation was different!" Tyson added.
'Cause different
Doesn't feel so different
And going out is better
Than always staying in
Feel the wind
They both collected their blades and turned to go back to the camp. Upon reaching, they found that Ray and Max had both made the same discovery that they had…that going back was the best solution sometimes…back to basics.
