Writer: Hey, new story, hopefully this last longer than others. Anyways, it's the story of a hunter named Hayden, with his infected friends, and a lone survivor named Derek.
Begin chapter 1
Derek would be walking with his hood over his head, his hat shadowing his eyes. He was walking through a valley, when he saw a bunch of debris, as he climbed over, he heard a faint sound of a hunter's growl. He continued on, hands in his pockets, on-guard. Once he got onto the street, the hunter tried to pounce at him. Derek spinned around, and ducked under the hunter. After the Hunter landed, Derek ran at him, kicking him in the face. The Hunter was flown back, once he landed, he tried to get back up, but the survivor stepped on his chest, Magnum pulled out.
Derek: Sorry, but huntin seasons over.
Derek fired into the hunter's face several times, each a fatal shot.
*Hayden's perspective*
Hayden: Wow…
Hunter1: Dam, this guy is good.
Hayden: Took out Harold.
Hunter1: Dam, I'm not hunting this guy, I'm going for a different pray.
The other Hunter jumped off, while Hayden stayed.
Hayden: Dam...he even looks like a hunter, to.
As the survivor was walking away, checking his ammo and clip...he seemed to be frustrated.
Hayden: I should probably go and tell the others.
Hayden leaped off, going towards the group of infected in the area.
*Derek's perspective*
Derek continued walking on, street cleared of any infected. Once he went down the subway tunnel, being closed off, he found a side room with a safe room in it. He walked on, going into it, but not closing it. There was a singular medkit they're, and a small ammo pile, mostly consisting of pistol, magnum, and MP5 ammo. There was also a MP5 they're, but Derek couldn't keep it for more than 2 mags, as he didn't have anywhere to put it. As he checked what he had, a spitter was heard outside the door. Derek turned back, walking towards the door. As he reached the door, he leaned on the side of the wall, waiting for the spitter. Time passed, for what seemed like minutes, the spitter finally appeared, but before it could shot off, Derek closed the door, blocking any acid from coming through.
Derek: Sorry, it's an acid reflex.
End chapter 1.
Writer: So, Derek is a one-liner badass who can hold his own, even against a hunter.
Reader: Isn't that OP?
Writer: Well, they're are people in L4D who can do this, so….it's not impossible, just hard. ANyways, I'll leave it at that, see ya next time.
