Brittany and Santana have known each other for as long as they can remember. Their parents are best friends. When Brittany and Santana started middle school everything changed. They met Quinn Fabray on their first day. Quinn was added to their group and Brittany started to get jealous. She noticed Santana and Quinn bonding over everything and she felt left out. Brittany and Santana were double trouble,but now Santana would rather hang out with Quinn. Brittany usually walked home with Santana,but Santana walked home with Quinn and puck now. Brittany usually walked home with Santana because she was her best friend and they had loads of stuff to talk about. But also because Santana lived 2 doors down from Brittany. One day when Brittany was walking home alone she notice Quinn and Santana outside on Santana's front lawn. They were singing and dancing to hit me baby one more time. That's me and Santana's song. Brittany just walked by and headed to her own front door. She ran up to her room and began to cry. Susan,Brittany's mom, came upstairs to greet her. "Hey Brittany," Susan greeted. She noticed Brittany in the corner crying,"Aww,baby,what's wrong?" Brittany looked up at her mom,"Santana doesn't like me anymore,she found a new best friend." "I'm sure she's still you're friend,baby." "Not-uh, her and Quinn are dancing and singing to hit me baby one more time,that's our song.""Honey,you should wait until Quinn leaves and then go talk to Santana." "Okay, but what if she doesn't want to be my friend anymore." "Baby,anyone who doesn't want to be you're friend, that's their loss,"Susan said smiling. "Maybe I'm too stupid or ugly or maybe she just likes Quinn more than me." Brittany walked across the neighbors lawn to get to Santana's house. It was only November and Quinn and Santana are already close even though they met three months ago. Brittany ran across Santana's lawn and up to her front door, her eyes stinging from all the tears she just cried. She knocked a few times then Santana's mom, Anita,came to the door. "Hey, Brittany,Santana's upstairs you can just go right up." "Thanks, Ms.L." Brittany walked up the same stairs and down the same hallway she must have walked down a million times. Brittany opened the door to Santana's room and there stood Santana looking in the mirror singing hit me baby on more time. "Hey, San." "Hey,Britts.""Um, I just wanted to come talk to you because I really missed you.""Okay,what did you wanna talk about,Britts?" "Uh, I have to tell you something but I don't want you to be mad at me." Brittany walked over and sat next to Santana on the bed. "I could never be mad at you, britts." " I just want you to be my best friend again. I know you and Quinn are becoming closer , but I don't like how you guys always leave me out." Santana just leaned in and kissed Brittany." I'm sorry, I haven't been meaning to leave you out, Britts. I just really love you and I was afraid that I would kiss you and you wouldn't want to be my friend anymore." "San, I love you, too." Brittany said as she leaned in to kiss Santana again.
