Heartbroken I lay, my faith shattered in pieces.
In a tunnel of darkness I stood,
A path as lacking in light as the deep midnight.
I prayed constantly for a miracle, to be freed,
But instead fell deeper into the pit of darkness.
Night and day, tears flowed down my cheeks.
My hope had long been demolished, I was alone.
But then, I saw the light,
