The annual assembly of the leaders of the four nations was rarely, if ever, productive. Toph (who was the only member of the Earth Kingdom brave enough (or crazy enough) to volunteer) had dubbed these meetings "family reunions." The fact that these meetings were always held at the Firelord's beach house didn't help much either. Hakoda always sent Katara and Sokka along, claiming he had "too much to do," while Iroh would venture to the Fire Nation for a week to "palace-sit" for Mai and Zuko while they were gone. Suki and Ty Lee would be required to come along as Zuko's bodyguards, of course, and Aang, well, he was the Avatar and the only surviving member of the Air Nomads. He couldn't avoid it if he wanted to.

The first day was always spent unpacking and exchanging gifts. (Thank you so much Toph for… my toothbrush?) The gift exchange was followed by a formal dinner (Ten points to whoever can nail Zuko in the eye with a sea prune.) and bed. (Slumber party!)

The second day was always a day of rest to recover from their travels. (Last one to the beach is a rotten egg!)

The third day fell to discussion on the advancement of bending. (Pretty good, Twinkle Toes, but can you do this?)

(Zuko's on my team!) The fourth day brought discussion of war and peace-keeping strategy. (Sneak attack!)

The fifth day was taken as a personal day, (Who knew politics was so exhausting?) while the evening was an exploration of the cultural heritage of Ember Island. (What do we get to see them butcher this year?)

They would all sleep until noon on the sixth day and awaken to a hawk with a status report from Iroh. (Just a friendly reminder that there are important matters that need to be addressed.) The rest of the day and most of the night would then be spent addressing said matters. (All in favor of making Momo supreme ruler of the world and going to bed, say aye. 'Aye.')

The seventh day was spent packing (Who took my boomerang?) and finalizing plans for the future. (There's a gala at the palace next month and I insist you all come.) (Shut up Zuko. he just doesn't want to have to put up with all of those stuffy nobles alone.) Goodbyes were then said, (Don't miss me too much!) and all would set off for their respective homes. (The Southern Water Tribe is to the south, Sokka…)

Productivity was overrated anyways.

A/N: I was trying to decide whether or not this would be considered a parody, but concluded that it was not. I have no doubt that this is exactly what would happen if the situation occurred. I wrote this a couple months ago, before the premiere of Korra.
