Chapter 1 Lief's kidnapping
Lief was sitting in the library when he looked up to see black smoke drifting in from the window what is this Lief thought "I have you now Lief of Del" whispered a voice "uh The shadow lord" Lief gasped in surprise quickly unsheathing his sword "I am so sorry but we do not want your weak human friends to hear and come after you" the shadow lord cackled evilly.
Lief started to tremble and he moaned quietly falling to his knees Lief placed his hands to his head "no" he moaned as his eyes started to slowly close "haha that's right sleep Lief of Del" The shadow lord whispered to Lief. Lief mumbled a no and then he fell to the floor asleep. Laughing the shadow lord drifted over to Lief "finally" the shadow lord said looking down at his prize. Then he lifted Lief up and disappeared back to the shadowlands.
