She woke up him by her side. Their daughter was crying in the next room. He was went to go get her. She was feeling truly awful. She wasn't going today. "You have to go," he said. Why? Because she was my sister? She shook her head, "Willow isn't going. I'm not going to take her." He looked at her with those sad puppy dog eyes. She couldn't resist. "Fine, but we are leaving her with… Never mind. She's coming." The ceremony was the same as the last fifteen years. Until he walked on to the stage. She couldn't do it. Thankfully as if to her command it started to rain. They silently slipped away.

2 days later There was a knock on the door. She knew who it was she had been expecting that knock for a while now. She ignored it. She knew that if Peeta came home it would set him off and she was still mad at him. He was incident free for almost a year now. Another knock. She waited, then she peered out the window gone. Good. A few minutes passed. Then someone came in the kitchen door. Crap. She walked around to the kitchen and there was Haymitch with him. She stayed still. Nobody moved. Willow started to cry upstairs. Haymitch made the first move. She was with him. "You can't ignore me forever, you know." Silent. She looked away. "Katniss," his voice was a whisper, "I...I need….You and I need to talk." No. She didn't register that she walked away, and she really didn't register Peeta walking through the front door. She went up to her room until she heard the argument Peeta was having with himself.
