After two long years of waiting, Roderich faced his fear and went to the docks of northern Spain. The Austrian had been waiting for Antonio to come back from his long trip overseas.

Clutching his shirt and cross necklace, Roderich gazed out at the different ships docking in the marina and searching for the Spaniard's face. Then he saw it.

The Austrian spotted Antonio's head of curls and emerald green orbs. Roderich was never one for crying unless he got hurt but this case was different. More special. He hadn't seen the Spaniard in over two years.

Roderich had missed Antonio very dearly.

Tears began to prick from Roderich's violet colored eyes.

Antonio was nabbing his battle axe and captain's hat when he stopped to look out at the people waiting for their significant others to come off the ships. Recognizing him back his violet eyes, the Spaniard found the Austrian amongst the crowd.

Strapping his axe onto his back and throwing on his black and gold, white feathered hat, Antonio rushed off the ship in Roderich's direction.

This only made Roderich cry even more. The shorter brunette began running towards the Spaniard. Antonio caught Roderich as the Austrian jumped into his arms.

Roderich wrapped his arms around Antonio and let his tears flow freely from his eyes.

"Oh Tonio...I'm so happy to see you..." Roderich hiccuped. Antonio hugged the Austrian tightly.

"I've missed you so much." Antonio whispered, "Two years was too long away from you."

The Austrian pulled away to stare into the Spaniard's handsome green eyes. Antonio reached out (one arm holding onto the smaller brunette's body) to caress Roderich's cheek and wiped away any loose tears with his thumb.

Roderich laughed hoarsely and planted a chaste kiss onto Antonio's lips. The Spaniard held the Austrian tightly and kissed back a bit roughly. Antonio had missed Roderich's touch. And the softness of the beautiful male's lips. The Austrian was surprised but didn't fight it. Antonio's lips, although slightly chapped, were still gentle.

After a couple minutes, Roderich pulled away with a tired smile. "Liebe, let's go home." He murmured.

Antonio pressed his forehead against the Austrian's, "Anything you want mi amor."

I love the pairing of Spain x Austria, especially considering their history with Hapsburg (look that up if you don't know what it is). I wish it got more love but everyone loves Spamano and PruAus the most. I'm not judging though. I ship those too. I actually wrote this for a Hetalia fanfic contest on Instagram. I turned the admin of the contest into a fan of this pairing, even if I didn't win. But I consider that a success. I also made them love America x Lithuania. So a double win for me! Anyhow, until next time my fellow hetalians. Hasta la pasta! ~Churro
