Tails has invited Sonic over his house to show him a new invention he made. When Sonic looked at Tails' invention, he felt a little nervous.
"So what does this thing do?" asked Sonic.
"It's a surprise," said Tails.
"It better not be a trick," said Sonic.
Tails took the invention from the table, pointed it at Sonic, and fired a blast directly at Sonic's shoulder.
"Ow! That hurt like a needle," said Sonic.
A bump slowly formed on Sonic's shoulder and grew bigger every second. The bump reshaped itself into Sonic's head and blue fur and quills grew from the back of the bump.
"Okay, this is getting creepy," said Sonic.
Sonic's brown neckerchief widened a little bit as a pair of eyes and ears formed on the bump. A black nose similar to Sonic's formed on the bump while a mouth formed on the lower area. Tan fur formed on the area around the second head's mouth, completing the changes.
"Yes! It worked!" said Tails.
"What just happened?" asked Sonic's second head.
"Oh my gosh...this is real," said Sonic's first head as he felt the second head with his right hand.
"This is awesome! Eggman would be scared of you if he saw your second head," said Tails.
"Yeah, he won't mess with us anymore," said Sonic's second head.
Sonic and his other head both went outside to meet his friends and get something to eat for lunch.
