"Hey Yoonbum what you reading?" Sangwoo asks as he enters the bedroom, Bum fumbles and tries to hide the book "nothing" he replies. "Really" says Sangwoo "because you had an awful look of fascination and horror on your face to say you were looking at nothing." Bum admits defeat and shows him the book, Sangwoo reads the title aloud "Misery" sounds cheerful I'm sure you can relate, I don't even remember buying this what's it about?" "A man who gets kidnapped and has his legs broken" Bum replies without thinking, "Oh very funny Bum I…" he reads the blurb "oh so it is." He tosses it back to Bum who gets hit on the head before it falls into his lap. "Oh you don't mind me reading it?" he asks "Nah, in fact I feel like a bedtime story" says Sangwoo. Bum just blinks in response "Well go on, just start from wherever I'll figure it out" Sangwoo says making himself comfy on the bed. Bum blushed slightly and starts to read and hoping that Sangwoo does not get inspired by Annie Wilkes.
He reads a few chapters and Sangwoo seems disinterested, Bum supposed some of it was rather tame compared to what he did. Though the odd moment would receive a chuckle from the man such as when the unfortunate author had to drink water from the mop bucket, this caused Bum to stop reading and look at him uneasily for a moment only to receive a smirk in response. Reading a horror story about a situation similar to his was uncomfortable to say the least but it wasn't until a particularly gruesome part the Bum began to feel light headed. "sh- she slid her right hand d- down the handle of the axe…" Bum stammered as he read before turning the page and a few shades whiter. "Come on it's getting good" Sangwoo said apparently not noticing or caring about Bum's unease. Bum gulped and continued trembling now "The axe came whistling down and buried itself in Paul Sheldon's left leg just above the ankle…" Bum read aloud Sangwoo noticing his trembling now but not saying anything, he continued to read.
Bum read while tormented by flashback of basements, baseball bats and sledgehammers, all while subconsciously gripping his own damaged ankles. He managed to read "No central pressure point got to cauterise" before slumping against the wall in a faint. Sangwoo just chuckles at this "Honestly Yoonbum what am I going to do with you?" he lays the man down beside him and removes the book. Bum begins to come around "Hey why don't I do this to you?" Sangwoo smiles Bum immediately tenses up fear and tears in his eyes. "Make you write a book a mean" Bum relaxes slightly "what would you have me write?" he asks. "You could write about us" Sangwoo replies "you know bout killing and stalking ." Bum looks at him for a moment "Really Sangwoo who'd want to read about us?"
Just a silly idea I had to write down because Killing Stalking really did remind me of Misery when I read it lol
