"K'walski, what is love?" It was a fairly simple question to Private but he still had to ask it. He really didn't understand the FEELING. He stared expectedly at the scientist.

"Well... Um..." Ugh! Emotion! Kowalski was open to answering any question for Private but he just couldn't... Calculate an answer. He looked at the private, his blue eyes stared at him with sheer excitement. His insides fell. He HAD to answer the question now. He didn't want to let him down. He just couldn't. "Well, Private, love... Love is this... This feeling where... You never want to be away from someone," Kowalski was nervous. He hoped that was a good enough answer.

"What else? Is that it?" Private was a little disappointed that he didn't get a longer answer. This was exactly what Kowalski feared. He had to come up with MORE! He could lie. He could say that there wasn't anymore to it. But then he looked at Private's face. Uh! He just HAD to be adorable, didn't he?

" There's more... Its a feeling where," He sighed, " You look at a person and think 'Hey, they're probably the most beautiful living thing on this Earth!' But then you correct yourself and think 'Hey, they ARE the most beautiful living thing on this Earth, no ifs, ands or buts.' And I'm not talking just about looks. They can be beautiful on the inside too," Kowalski stared at Private. He stared at him all over. He looked at his cute smile and his eyes that were like oceans and his shining feathers. He thought of Private's sweetness and his determination to be nice... He felt something on the inside. It was warm and breathtaking. He liked it.

"Oh! I think I know that feeling," Private looks at the floor and smiled, "Have you ever felt love for anybody?... Except Doris," What Kowalski said next just came flying out. He had no intention to say it. But after he did, he knew it was true. He had the feeling all along.

"I've felt love for you," He liked the response he got afterwards.
