"It's her!'

"Run!"

"It's Kagome!"

She grunted a little as her nails clawed away the ropes that bound her movments. Dodging and running and moving and jumping. The same as anyother day except this time. She wasn't here to stop her.

She left a breathy laugh escape her petal like lips as she dove into the sacred shine. Pulling her sleeve over her sensitive nose as she looked upon the glowing object with admration. She used her clawed hand to snatch the jewel from it's glorious stand and stole away with it as the men cam rushing in.

A loud explosion behind her already holds the answer that fate was not so kind.

"Finally," She grinned, jumping away again, "A way to become all demon at last."

Upon her landing, she sprited to the forest to make her escape... nearly.

"Kagome!" Each syllable pronouced with the upmost hatred. A burning passion underlaying a tone of despration.

The arrow shot from the bow with a speed like no other and burried itself into Kagome's left shoulder and to a tree. She stared at her former friend with a gaze of confusion. A breeze blowing her black hair off her shoulders as the young pristess gave her a cold stare.

"K-Kikyo. How could... I thought," Her hand reached out to the jewel, yet it fell away as a blackness over took her sight.

The girl stummbled over to the jewel and picked it up.

"Sister Kikyo!" A shrill voice rang into the air with other shouts of "Pristess Kikyo" or "Lady Kikyo." Either way, it was certain the direction of attention was on the woundeed women.

"I forgot who I and now see what," She glanced at the jewel.

"You're hurt really badly. Let someone-" The girl stopped short upon her sister's movement.

"All for this, The sacred jewel which," She closed her eyes shut and breathed heavily.

"You're in pain," The girl tried again.

"I won't live much longer," Kikyo stated simply, "And so, I give this to you. The Shikon No Tama which you must burn with my body. It can't fall into the hands of those who would abuse it."

She squeezed her eyes shut until the pain turned to numbness and only the shout of her sister was heard, "Sister Kikyo!"

I shall take it with me. To the other world.

The remains of the girl burned until not even and a strand of her black hair remaind.
