The day seemed so bright. Brother was at the head of the Celsius after the battle that loomed over Spira. Vegnagun had been destroyed and all the hope in the world seemed to be restored!
"Brother! Higher!" Yuna's cheerful voice could be heard over the loud speaker. Brother shifted some controls and felt the rise of the ship. If Yuna wished it, Brother would oblige!
"Brother! Faster!" She sounded so happy! Brother's stupid smile almost filled the bridge of the ship. Those around him sighed.
"You got it!" He called up to Yuna and increased his ships speed. He hadn't the faintest idea why Yuna wanted to get to Besaid in a hurry but that didn't matter! Yuna had specifically come to him and asked him this favor! Brother was not going to let her down!
As the beach at Besaid came into view he started to think, something usually very dangerous whenever Brother did it. Now that Vegnagun was destroyed and everything seemed to be better…Yuna could be the dancing!
"Yes…yes! Yuna could dance every night! Very much excited!" Brother proclaimed with determination when he suddenly heard the lift start working. Yuna must have been tired of standing on top of the ship…
"He's there! I know he is!" She came in yelling.
"He?" Brother proclaimed but Yuna was already gone and heading down. Brother heard the ship's hatch open and slid the Celsius to a stop. He ran to the window and saw Yuna jump off the ship and…into another man's arms?
"It really is him! It's Tidus!" Rikku exclaimed with a jump. Her and Paine headed to the hatch, leaving Brother in the bridge.
"Tidus…!" He was yelling to himself. He knew little about this…this boy and yet his Yuna was gallivanting like a school girl!
"Where did this mystery boy come from? Boyfriend come up from water?" Brother was now pacing around. How was this possible? Well…he had seen weirder things happen but this…
Just when Brother was about to have the dancing Yuna all to himself this…this blonde nincompoop come from nowhere!
Feeling ruined, Brother sat himself in a corner on the ship. He could see Yuna and the surfer dude run to shore and he curled up into depression.
"I was going to dance with Yuna till the end of the time! Sailing around world…seeing many beautiful things is all that Brother wanted! Now Yuna is with that seemingly handsome boy!" Brother ranted even though no one was around to hear…perhaps it was better that way.
"How do you even come from water! He does not even look pruny like you should! And this guppy has golden locks? I know I am, what they call hip but there is a line that needs to be drawn! My hair color should not be copied! It is one of kind!" Brother wailed, even though his hair color looked nothing like Tidus'.
Brother was shaking his head back and forth. What could perfect Yuna see in such airhead!
"All things about this boy point to trouble!" He said and stood up dramatically. He flailed his arms around and then pounded them onto the glass. He was pressed up against the glass, even his face was smushed. Any on looker would think someone slammed on the breaks and Brother went flying forward.
"Oh Yuna! You are my delicate dancing bird and I will let you fly so you are happy…" Brother spoke in a poetic tone.
"Since my love for Yuna not be realized…Brother will protect Yuna from water boy's shenanigans! YA! I will protect Yuna from anything that boy tries! My delicate flower is too…too…delicate! Yes!" Brother ran to the hatch and jumped out into the water. He was determined to keep the boy a good arms length away from Yuna!
"YUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAA! BROTHER IS COMING TO PROTECT YOU!"
