Ticktock

Author's note: Please be gentle, I admit to being an absolutely @$!@ of a poet.

Tick tock

Tick, tock, tick, tock

The clock ticking in my room

Ticking in my head.

Time ticking by,

Not fast enough.

It is still night time.

It is still dark.

Still the memories haunt me.

The memory of my mother,

Crying over the loss of my father.

The memory of my sensi,

Telling me of the time when

Peace rained on earth.

Telling me that I had

To become strong.

Strong I am now.

Earth is in peace now.

Alone I am also.

Happy I am not.

My life is empty.

My soul is hollow.

I don't know why I live,

I don't know why

I fought so hard to live.

Tick, tock, tick, tock

The clock ticking in my room

Ticking in my head.

I count the ticking

Waiting for the sun to rise

Hoping it will be bright enough

To drive away the gloom from my life

For what is the point of being the leagendary warrior of gold?

If the gold flecked light shead by my aura is lost on myself
