Ace's POV:
I was staring at the Christmas tree that was currently being decorated in the middle of the room. Shanks had invited us all to a Christmas party, us being Luffy and his group of friends and me and Sabo. There were some of Shanks other friends too, some of which I could recognise, like Ben, and some which I couldn't. Strangely enough Mihawk was here too, and I couldn't help but be surprised by his presence. They were supposed to be rivals, right? I frowned as I looked at Zoro starting to help Luffy decorate the Christmas tree.
"Ace, are you okay?" I suddenly heard Sabo ask, distracting me from what I had been so concentrated in.
I turned around and looked at him, surprised. "Yes I am, why?" I immediately replied.
"You have been staring at Luffy and Zoro for quite a while now" He immediately replied with a look of concern in his eyes, imagining what was going through my head.
"I am okay, I already told you" I immediately responded again, quickly losing my patience.
He grinned mischievously and sat beside me. "I know perfectly how you feel, Ace" He just said.
I looked at him, feeling heat rise to my face, and then looked away, telling Sabo to saying such ridiculous things. I immediately started glaring at Zoro again, almost emitting an animalistic growl. Zoro suddenly turned around and noticed me glaring at me, immediately directing a look of jealousy to me that made me frown even more. I soon started thinking quite deeply, feeling the undeniable pang of jealousy that was going throughout me grow even more. However all my thoughts were suddenly disturbed by Sabo who knows how much time later as he shook my shoulder to grab my attention.
"Ace, have you been listening to me?" He asked with a mischievous glint in his eyes that didn't promise anything good at all.
"W-what?" I asked, wondering just what Sabo was planning to do. He had that expression on his face, and it didn't promise anything good at all.
He grinned and just turned around. "Luffy!" He shouted as he suddenly got up from his seat and quickly pulled me up as well. "Ace wants to help you decorate the tree!" he then added then with another shout, as he pushed me quite hard towards the already half decorated Christmas tree. I gulped and ignored Shanks's loud and obnoxious laugh, and wished that my face wasn't as red as I expected it to be as I cursed Sabo under my breath, causing him to laugh quite loudly.
"Ace, come here!" Luffy suddenly shouted, which made Zoro glare at me for a moment.
I immediately took a step towards them and answered Zoro's glare with another one, creating a heavy air of tension in the whole room. All of the people inside the room where looking at us, and I could only wonder just how the hell Luffy managed to not notice the tense atmosphere that now governed the room. Once I was close enough to Luffy he immediately hugged me and then handed me some decorations, dedicating me one of his goofy grins.
"It's fun, Ace, you'll see" Luffy immediately added then with that same grin.
I smiled then and started decorating the tree, telling myself that I wouldn't lose Luffy to the green haired male besides me, no matter how much it would cost.
