A/N: I actually got the idea for this Fic from DN Angel. I think it's in the fourth manga? I dunno. Anyway, sorry if I got any information concerning White day wrong. Sorry, the end is horribly cheesy. I hope you like it! Sorry this came so late….my computer was broken…
March Fourteenth, White day, was every girl's favorite day. It was a hopeful day, where a girl might receive a gift from the boy she liked, or better yet a white ribbon. The White ribbon was the best present ever. If a boy tied it around you then your love would last forever. It was also a day of Festivals and fun. Seishun Gakuen Junior high school always held the largest White day festival in the Kanto region.
Every student had a job to do, whether it was hanging banners, or setting up games, or cooking food. Seigaku's festival contained a variety of activities. There were food stands and games and dramas. There was even a Tennis competition between the girls and boys teams. White day was a truly spectacular event at Seishun academy.
Sakuno and Tomo were busy running the Freshman Class 2 game booth. Both girls were very upset because they had to work during Ryoma's game. The day was long and the cheering from the tennis courts wasn't helping. Finally, Sakuno and Tomo were allowed a break for lunch.
"I hope Ryoma-sama gives me a white ribbon." Tomo said. Sakuno walked down the cherry blossom lined path secretly hoping the same thing. But Sakuno knew that Ryoma would never give her a white ribbon. Ryoma never paid any attention to her; he didn't even thank her for the chocolates that she gave him on Valentines Day.
Tomo stopped suddenly. "I forgot my lunch at the game booth! I'll be right back!"
Sakuno sighed. She continued walking down the path until something caught her eye. It was Ryoma leaning against a tree. He was already changed into his uniform. He looked almost troubled by something, yet Sakuno couldn't tell because his trademark hat was covering his eyes. She walked up to him.
"Hello Ryoma-kun." She greeted him.
"S…Sakuno-chan." He said looking surprised. 'Did Ryoma just stutter? And he called me by my name? I think Ryoma is sick' Sakuno thought.
"I heard you won the finals. C… Congratulations." Now she was the one stuttering.
Ryoma seemed to be fiddling with something in pocket, and looked as if he wanted to say something.
"Ryoma…" Ryoma pressed his finger to her lips to silence her. He grabbed her hand and pulled a white ribbon out of his pocket. Sakuno's face lit up. He tied the ribbon around her wrist.
Ryoma moved closer to her. He barely touched his lips to hers. Ryoma looked into her eyes for a brief moment and then ran.
Sakuno was shocked. She had never seen Ryoma display that amount of emotion since she met him. Sakuno stood rooted to the spot for several minutes, only taken back to reality when she heard Tomo's voice call her name.
"Sakuno! Is that a white ribbon?" Tomo said "Who gave it to you?" Her voice was filled with excitement.
Sakuno blushed and quietly said, "Ryoma-kun…."
