Forever You and Me
I ask myself, what did I do,
To get Lucky enough to have you?
I'm not perfect as you say,
I am me, so there is no way.
You whispered softly in the night,
Telling me everything would be alright.
As you gently stroke my hair,
You tell me how much you care.
You say I can't deny,
The laughter in my eyes.
The spark in my smile,
You say helps in the miles.
When we embrace,
Every time I see your face,
Our love is brighter than the sun
I know you are the one.
Our future may be a wild ride
Adversity coming like the tide
Constant running, and never smooth
But in this race we shall never lose
So just know,
My love will never run low,
Please let us be,
Forever You and Me
