Short one shot I wrote while trying to work on the next chapter of for The Love of Kami Be specific.

Future Bulma has a talk about the android less future with someone who is listening despite his unfortunate being dead situation.

Disclaimer: you all know I dont own them.

She had gotten old. Hell, Bulma knew it, Trunks knew it. For fucks sake, she would bet anything that even the dead prick whos grave she was sitting next to knew it.

"You missed a lot Vegeta." she talked looking out at the newly built Capsule corp building. "A hell of a lot. That boy you were so adamant about not being yours has done hell of a lot for us. Saved the fucking world, you prick." She playfully smacked the ground, hoping that somewhere he felt that.

"I have never seen Trunks so happy. He has been working non stop for months, and even got himself a girlfriend." Bulma stubbed the butt of the cigarette on the ground next to the small wooden cross. Lighting another one, she leaned her back against it. "He went to the future to stop the whole thing you know. Went all by himself, and saved that world too. Son died again though, apparently he sacrificed himself to save the world from something called Cell. The other you was pissed as hell."

"Apparently, the other you is very different than the man I remember. Trunks died, shot in the heart by Cell. The other you saw this, and lost it. Apparently you attacked Cell without thinking, mad that he killed your son." Bulma sighed, patting the ground. "I told him that it was great. Did not have the heart to tell him that man was different than his father. You would never have done that. Maybe if you had had time to know him you would have, but fate saw no need for that huh?"

She smiled bitterly. "I miss you ya bastard. Iv'e tried filling your place with other men, tried seeing other people. Yet in the back of my fucking mind, I keep comparing them to you. Thinking, this guy has no pride, where is the fight? All of them are boring after you." Settling farther against the cross, Bulma chuckled. "Never thought of that did we? After all, you were an experiment, and I was a stress releiver. Nothing was meant to come of it. Yet here I am, after over twenty years with out you, and all I can think of when I see this damn cross far from where the others are buried, is "Damn that man! All the things I never got to tell him!" Well, this is as good a time as any huh?"

Standing up, she brushed her pant legs off. "Listening Saiyain prince? I loved you. I honestly, truly did." She threw her head back, yelling at the top of her voice. "I love Vegeta Prince of Saiyains. There! After twenty some years I admit it! What do you think if that world!" Laughing, she turned from the small cross, and headed off toward where the other Z warriors were buried.

In the distance, Trunks turned from the balcony, a smile on his face. "About time mom." He began to hum something to himself, dusting off a shelf. Sitting on the far end of the shelf was an old beaten and broken piece of alien armor. The stomach having been punctured, as well as a hole directly above the heart, it was a memento of a cruel and incredible life.
