Misty looked at her boyfriend Ash Ketchum and said "Ash we need to talk." Ash said "About what?" Misty sighed and said "About us. Look Ash you're a great guy but I don't love you like that I just want us to be friends. The truth is I love Gary." Ash stunned said "Mist what kind of joke is this?" Misty said "It's not Ash." Ash ran away crying. Misty shouted after him "Ash wait stop!" Still running Ash said*sob* "Why do all the girls fall for Gary." Luckily Ash had His oldest friend Pikachu there to help him calm. As Ash was falling asleep his mother was telling his friend May about what happened. As she listened she decided she would go to Pallet Town to help cheer Ash up.
