Summary: Sure, we imagine. But what if you could make the thoughts in your head real? Create your own special land you alone could escape to.

Author's Notes: Like the new setup? I don't know. I got the concept from another author and I thought "Why not?" Maybe I'll keep it and maybe I won't.

It had always been in his head. He wanted to not only dream the impossible but make that impossible real. Ideas to him were birds. Great flocks that had hatched in his head and were yearning to stretch their wings beyond the confines of the mind. Some ideas, preferred to settle down, and stay in one place. Those were the bad ideas.

The good ideas however, were bright eyed and eager to explore. They all screamed "Let me out! Let me out!"

And so, it was that the genius, who gave birth to such wonders in his mind, set them free. Free to explore. Free to develop. Free to discover and grow into bigger and better ideas.

But to develop, it takes a bird time. So the genius waited and waited, tending his fully fledged birds with his imagination. He was feeding them, all the yummy nutrients of it. The dreams. The desires.

Then in time, the ideas were full grown. So they wrapped themselves in a cocoon and for a little while, strayed far from the inner reaches of the genius's mind. Sad, (for why would such a beautiful bird leave him like that?) the genius moved on, hatching even more ideas. But his mind still strayed on the one that got away.

Then one day, his mind caught sight of a small cracking noise. It was the cocoon. It burst open. But out of it, did not come the bird. Instead what immerged was pure magic. Magic that sprinkled across the globe, filling it with happiness.

The genius was happy.

It was just another magical day for Willy Wonka.
