I hate this town.
Nothing good comes out of it.
Cold. Lonely. You could just see the sadness.
If only I could escape from this place.
Then, just then, would I actually consider happiness.
But, for now, I'm stuck.
In this cold, cold world.
"Hhhh...gahhh...ghh.." panted Tomoya Okasaki as he slowed down his trip towards the end of the street. Visions were a blur to him, as so was his life. He traveled slowly down the path he always took every morning on his journey to school. He stopped at a hillside, where a girl's voice could be heard. It seemed as though she was saying, "Do you like this school? I really like it."
Tomoya wondered, why is she talking to me? She must be talking to someone else, someone in her heart. But then, Tomoya let out a soft gasp as the girl swiftly turned around all in one movement, her beautiful short-cut chestnut brown hair gleaming in the bright sunlight.
She suddenly giggled, as Tomoya thought to himself again, is she...laughing at me? "Fun things. Happy things. You never know what you may find." She turned back, the back of her facing Tomoya once again. She continued, "Only, I just hope I'll find something. Something...something that will bring me joy. Make me happy." Tomoya cleared his throat, then opened his mouth, and said to the girl, "Think of those things. Then..those things will come to you. As long as you earn them."
The girl turned around and let out a soft "huh?" with a confused expression on her face. "Sorry if that didn't make sense, I'm not usually good at this kind of stuff." She just kept looking at him, as Tomoya thought it was an awkward moment, so he then said, "We'd better go." The girl nodded, slowly walking towards him, a sort of...sad expression on her face, well, at least that's what Tomoya thought of it. Her breifcase was in front of her, her soft and delicate hands clutching onto its handle.
And together, they both started walking the path of their life. A maze. A road that leads to no end. A world that has ended, but never really ended.
