I waited in the rain for your train to come up to the platform. The wind was biting at my cheeks and whipping my bangs to and fro. "Jesus its cold." I muttered wrapping the jacket you left behind closer around my body. It no longer smelt of your perfume. It seemed like I had been waiting for an eternity, my clothes hung from my skin drenched. "C'mon…" I said checking my watch. I waited 20 minutes longer before walking away from the platform. I made my way to the mini-van through blurred vision when I hear your voice.
"ALISON!" it rung across the almost empty parking lot.
"Beth…" I whispered and ran up to you. "I missed you so much."
"I know. I love you."
