Marco was hanging out with Star in her room one night when a question came to him.
"Hey Star, remember that time that you thought football was a war?" he asked. "And you booby-trapped the football field and almost killed everyone on the other team?"
Star smirked sheepishly. "Yeah, of course I do. It only happened a month ago."
Marco sighed and chuckled. "Well, actually, there's something I've been wondering about that."
"What is it?" asked Star curiously.
"Where'd you get that suit of armor you were wearing?" questioned Marco.
"I made it with my wand, silly!" giggled Star. "Didn't it look really cool?"
"Yeah, it did." admitted Marco. "Now, there's something I'd like to do for me."
Star raised her magic wand in the air. "Fire away. Since I have a magic wand, I can do practically anything."
"Can you make me a suit of armor?" asked Marco. "Aside from being really cool, maybe it could be of some use when Ludo comes around again."
Star squealed in excitement. "That sounds awesome, Marco! I think you'd look really good in armor!"
Marco smiled wide and blushed a little. "Thanks, Star."
Star waved her wand around in the air and cast a spell upon the ground. A large, metallic gray suit of armor appeared right next to Marco. The armor was much bigger than the suit of Armor that Star wore at the football game. Large steel plates covered the armor from top to bottom; there were even articulated, armored fingers on the arm pieces. The armor's included helmet sealed the deal: it possessed glass eyeslits that were shaped in a way the almost looked menacing, had a large lamp near the "forehead", and had electrical and oxygen hoses that ran from the back of the helmet towards the front, which connected near the "mouth" of the helmet.
"Uh, Star?" asked Marco. "Doesn't this armor seem like... overkill?"
Star flipped her hair and laughed. "Pfft! Overkill? Ha! Just wait until you wear it!"
"We'll see." muttered Marco as he entered the armor and looked through the eyeslit of the armor for the first time.
"How's the view, knight?" teased Star.
Marco's view from the inside of the helmet was like nothing he had seen before. In front of him was a detailed interface that showed his vitality levels, a map of Echo Creek, and even a list of nearby radio stations.
The staticky sound of Marco's voice exited the speaker on the helmet. "This armor looks really creepy on the outside, but it's actually really neat here on the inside."
"Cooler than my armor?" asked the inter-dimensional princess.
"I guess." said Marco as he exited the armor.
"One thing's for sure, when Ludo shows up, he'll be in for a surprise."
Both teenagers laughed as they thought of the look that would form upon the kappa's face when he would see Marco running towards him in the massive, mechanized suit of steel that Star had made.
