ANGELS TEARS: They pierce through skin like a sharp knife…..
Colette soared through the sky around the Desian base as she looked for Lloyd. Suddenly, an arrow was shot up and hit one of her wings. She fell towards the ground at a speedy rate. She shifted all her weight to her other wing as she landed safely on her back. She desperately tried to heal her wing by concentrating all her mana to it, but the arrow stopped her mana flow. She slowly closed her eyes, and even though the sky was dark around her, her pale face glittering with a beauty that came from her heart. A trickle of blood could be seen falling onto the grassy area. Kvar walked over to her body, and mall with a smirk, kicked it and then tossed it into a shipping crate. "Next stop… Tethe'alla," he said, "pathetic chosen."
Colette's eyes suddenly opened, shiny and blue. Her blonde hair glittered, as if someone had put hairspray with all the extra stuff (Colette herself had never used it, she liked her hair the way it was) and… stuff. She looked into a mirror and saw that blue eye shadow had been placed onto her face, along with mascara and cherry red lipstick. There was something else that gave her lips a shine. Her nails were painted a light pink. "What's going on here? The only time I've seen someone with such things on is when Raine wanted to try and make Lloyd study, which only gave her a fan club."
A female came into the room in a maid uniform. "Ah, you are awake, Mistress Wilder," she said. "Huh? My name's Coll-" A red haired man walked into the room. "Ahh, Colette, my beauty. How are you doing? You've been asleep for a while now," he winked one of his blue eyes. The maid left the room. As the door swung closed, his face turned serious. "Look, I know who you are and that you were in a crate sent by Kvar. You'll be killed if you reveal who you are, so until my letter reaches your friends you're going to pretend you're my new wife, alright?"
Colette nodded her head. Seems easy enough, she thought. "Why am I dressed up like this?" She spun around in her blue dress. "I like the dress though," she added softly. Zelos laughed. "There's a dinner party tonight," he explained. "I see… what will I do there?"
Zelos looked at her. "Are you serious?" He raised his eyebrows. "You can eat or talk," Colette didn't think this was all true. In fact, she thought all you did was eat. "What kind of-"
"There will be steak and whatever else they decide to make. Every party has steak and wine around here, though," he said. Colette nodded. "I don't think I'm allowed to drink, though…" Zelos shrugged. "It doesn't matter. Everyone does."
Colette was hesitant at first, but when she arrived at the party she immediately wandered away from Zelos to a large plate of dumplings. She took another plate and piled half of them on. She sat down and gulped them up, as the women watched in disgust. Zelos hurried over to her. "Colette, your not a child here!" he whispered into her ear. She stopped and followed him to a… bulky man. "This is Regal Bryant," Zelos said. Regal nodded and smiled at Colette. She did the same. "Oh, Zelos, this is your wife?" One of Zelos' hunnies came up to them. To prevent himself from flirting with her, he planted a large kiss on Colette's lips. She waited, not enjoying the kiss at all, for him to finish.
He pulled away when she left. Regal had left, too. "Let's go back," Zelos grumbled. Colette followed the man she didn't know she loved.
The man that would introduce her to what the world was really like.
