It was a cold rainy November day. I had just come out of my English class. And I was headed towards the cafeteria. Noelle had just returned from her trip to Italy with her dysfunctional family. And I was missing Josh immensely, seeing as he broke up with me after the whole Dash and I almost having sex at Legacy.
Just then the newest kid came up to me and said, "Hey your Reed Brennan right?"
"Yup," was my standard reply to that question, "why?"
"Well I was kind of looking for someone in my English class to help me catch up with my notes. The teacher told me that you would probably be my best bet." He asked with a gust of wind that just blew by.
"Oh! If it's notes you need then I am your girl." Was I seriously flirting with this guy I just met. I had to admit he was very cute with his curly brown hair and crystal clear blue eyes. That held a vast amount of pain in them. I couldn't help myself but be curious.
"That's great! Can we meet in the library tonight around six? If that's okay with you, I mean."
"Oh sure six sounds great." I replied stupidly, I was so stupefied by his all-american cuteness.
" Great I'll see you then."
He wouldn't be interested in a poor girl from Bumblefuck USA. He'd probably be interested in the Noelle type of girl. Of Course.
