I know, another new story. This one, however, will take longer to update than my others, since it will be mostly following the story plot of the game Star Wars the Old Republic.

*I still don't own Ben 10 or Star Wars!*

Dialogue Key

"May the Force be with you." = regular speech

'Sending us on a reconnaissance mission? This doesn't feel right.' = thoughts

"Die like your brothers!" = someone yelling

A long time ago in a galaxy far away…

BEN 1O - THE OLD REPUBLIC

The war between the Jedi and Sith has reached a great turning point. With the fall of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, the forces of the Sith Empire are met with little resistance as the Jedi attempt to bolster their own numbers on the original Jedi home planet, Tython. And as this war continues, more and more lives are being altered drastically as the entire universe is slowly being dragged into a war that threatens to destroy all life everywhere. On the supposedly hidden colony known as Earth, a young man by the name of Benjamin 'Ben' Kirby Tennyson was rescued from his abusive family and is taken into Imperial Custody. Unfortunately, that custody happens to be as a slave.

As he's busy toiling away for the Empire, Benjamin Tennyson is selected by the overseers alongside several other slaves to take part in the trials of the Sith Academy to see if they have what it takes to become Sith. And only one shall have what it takes to become the apprentice of the mighty Sith Sorcerer: Lord Zash.

Will young Tennyson survive his trials and become Sith? Or will he be doomed to fail - dying at the claws of the beasts in the tombs like so many past acolyte hopefuls?

At the landing platform of the Sith Academy on the planet Korriban, a small shuttle filled with slaves has just arrived from offworld with the latest shipment that is meant to take the trials of the Academy. Along with one who is not a slave. Once it landed fully, one of the guards began barking orders at the gathered slaves.

"Alright, Maggots! Get up and get going! Single file! Doubletime! I might even settle for single-time." he barked.

As the new Acolytes disembarked from the shuttle, Ben took a little longer, allowing himself to take in the sights. As a request made by Lord Zash herself, a medallion with a green hourglass marking in the center was built and placed around the lad's neck. And only Lord Zash or the medallion's creator can remove it. Ben can't even lose it in combat. No one knows what it's for besides Lord Zash herself and the being who created it: a Galvan by the name of Azmuth. Ben himself is a sixteen year old human boy with messy brown hair, pale skin, and green eyes. Green eyes that were currently wide with a childish awe at his current surroundings.

The reddish orange sand and partially crumbling statues that surrounded the area made him smile. He could finally gaze upon the beauty of the birthplace of the Sith. It just seemed to calm him down more than any place on Earth ever did. As he took a deep breath through his nose his smile grew. Even the very air of the planet was rich with Dark Side Force energy, and it simply invigorated him.

Ben grunted as someone got off the shuttle and shoved their way past him and didn't even apologize.

Ben didn't get a very good look at the stranger under that hood, but he knows he's a male and appears to be another Pureblood Sith. But this guy's skin is a lighter red, almost orange shade. Or is it pink? He glanced back at Ben with a condescending scowl before continuing on his way.

'You are very RUDE, sir!' Ben thought with an exaggerated Englishman accent.

He saw that the rude initiate had stopped to talk to a man who, in Ben's opinion, has a face that only a mother could love. If barely. The man spoke to him pleasantly before the two went to join up with the rest of the future acolytes. Ben jogged to catch up with the rest before making it to the group.

However, it looks like he was the latecomer. But this didn't really bother him. If anything, it just made him chuckle at the suppressed outrage of this overseer. Harkun, he believes the guy's name is.

"Ah, the last one to arrive is finally here. I hope you don't think you're special. It would be a shame if freedom went to your head, or you somehow got the idea that you didn't need to pass your trials to become Sith." he growled, and Ben could already tell he wasn't going to like this guy. "Lord Zash has tasked me with sorting through you refuse to find one worthy of being her apprentice, and I intend to do just that."

Ben just scoffed at this man's high and mighty attitude. It reminded him vaguely of his arrogant know-it-all cousin back on Earth and how she thought that he was beneath the dirt on her feet. Actually, to her, he was lower on the pecking order than the worms in the dirt.

So, taking a chance to use his new freedom, Ben decided to be a smart aleck this time around.

"Please don't get all sentimental on us. We've only just met."

"I won't." growled Harkun. "Now the rest of you gutter trash already know your trial. Get going while I bring our latecomer up to speed."

With that said, everyone wandered off to wherever it was they were supposed to be going. It seems, however, that the orange one had already gone on ahead while Harkun was talking to the group. And the young Tennyson wasn't happy about the attitude from these guys.

"Now, Slave, for your trial. There's a hermit named Spindrall who lives in the tomb of Ajunta Pall in the Valley of the Dark Lords. Spindrall's a lunatic, but Lord Zash sees him as some kind of prophet. Once you find him, he will test you."

Ben smirked, showing off his pearly whites. Finally, he gets to fight someone and release some of this pent up aggression he's been feeling as of recently.

"The more challenging, the better." he quipped.

"But there - you know your task. But in case your pea sized brain caused you to already forget, I'll say it again. Spindrall lives in the tomb of Ajunta Pall in the Valley of the Dark Lords. Don't keep Spindrall waiting, slave." Harkun said in a condescending manner.

And with that, Harkun walked off to get to the Academy and wait for the possible Acolytes. But thankfully, the place was easy to navigate so Ben found his way to the entrance to the tomb rather easily. And standing in front of the tomb's entrance was one of the other Acolytes.

She is an, admittedly, beautiful girl with neck length reddish brown hair and blue eyes. Her lightly tanned skin made her seem more attractive, although she has some scarring or markings on the right side of her face. But this doesn't seem to take away from her beauty. And she has a figure that rivaled even a certain Navajo girl back on Earth.

The girl seemed to notice Ben and walked up to him. Through the Force, he could tell that this girl is slightly fearful of the possible perils that await them both in that tomb. But at the same time, she seemed to be more worried for Ben's safety rather than her own. And if he's being honest, he's touched by her concern. It's really one of the very few times anyone has ever really shown that they cared for him.

"Hello there. Ben, right?" she asked. At his nod, she continued. "Watch your back out there, friend. And don't worry. Harkun can't kill us all."

The lad doesn't really understand why, but he felt compelled to thank this girl for her concern. He doesn't even know her, and yet she seems to have wormed her way into his inner circle. Which, so far, is very few people that he has allowed into it.

"Thanks. That means a lot coming from a beautiful girl. What's your name, by the way?"

The girl smiled bashfully and blushed at being called beautiful. She'd be a liar if she said that Ben isn't handsome.

"Kory. You can call me Kory." she said. "And I have to say, you're pretty cute."

"I'm not cute! I'm deadly!" Ben exclaimed in mock offense.

Kory laughed at Jaune's words, her Force signature feeling like a great weight has been lifted from her shoulders. She really liked this guy. She felt very sorry that he had to have been sold into slavery like he had been. He would have been a great friend if they had been in a similar situation to each other.

"Of course you are." she said playfully before turning serious. "Just watch your back and don't get yourself killed in there."

With that, Kory walked into the tomb of Ajunta Pall, ready to get her trial over with. If she's being honest with herself, Kory doesn't know if she has what it takes to be Sith. She knows she'll probably die here, but she's going to try anyway.

After all, she's fighting for a cause.

Ben sighed as he watched Kory walk off into the tomb. He could feel that Kory has what it takes to be Sith. She just needs a good push in the right direction. Perhaps the Inquisitors at the academy would be able to help her.

And if they won't, he'll gladly help her out with this himself. Goodness knows that he'd definitely give her more help than his own good for nothing family had ever given to him back on Earth. Ben looked down at his hand and clenched his fist. Just thinking about Gwen and the rest of that abusive family he was a part of just made him so angry. An emotion that gave many a Sith greater power than they ever thought imaginable.

Gwendolyn, Maxwell, Carl, Sandra, Frank, Natalie, Verdona, all of them would pay for their transgressions against him!

Ben took a few deep breaths to calm himself down. Now was not the time to be reminiscing on bad memories. Right now, he's got a trial to pass and an old hermit to meet. Soon, he will be a Sith Acolyte. And after that…

Revenge would be his!

*To Be Continued…*

That's the end of the first chapter for this story. Now, if you people out there reading this wouldn't mind answering a few questions for me, that would be deeply appreciated.

Do you guys want this version of Ben Tennyson to gain an Omnitrix or the Antitrix? If so, what color do you want it to be?

Who do you want Ben to eventually romance in this story? (NO YAOI PAIRINGS! IF YOU SO MUCH AS MENTION A YAOI PAIRING, I WILL SICK A DASHADE ON ALL OF YOU!)

What color Lightsaber do you want Ben to have in this story? (Just because he's a Sith doesn't mean he has to have the standard red blade.)

Do you guys think Ben should meet and fight the Plumbers as the story progresses?

Thank you guys so much for reading. Don't forget to check out another story of mine called "Danny Phantom and the Ghostly Jedi - The Force Awakens". And as I'll say…

May the Force be with you, and have a great day.
