A New Journey
"Whoa that's awesome!" Sora exclaimed "100 Munny, an Elixir, Dodge Roll, and the Fire spell, it feels like Christmas!"
"Ha ha, Sora you sound just like a kid," Yuffie laughed.
"What's that supposed to mean!"
"It means that you have a lot of growing up to do before you can find your friends," Leon said.
"You mean I have to be older to find Riku and Kairi?"
"No Sora it means that you have to be ready for the challenges that are ahead," Aerith said gently.
"Oh, but Riku and Kairi need my help! And I'm no going to wait around! I'm going to bring them back home, and I'm gonna do it with one hand tied behind my back if I have to!"
"There you go! That's the attitude that's going to find your friends." Yuffie said nodding approvingly.
"Hey Sora, why don't you try out some of your abilities, Hyuck," Goofy said.
"Ok, let's see what I can do."
Turning around, Sora took a deep breath and did a shaky dodge roll. "I did it," he breathed. He kept practicing and after a few tries he managed to do a successful and graceful dodge roll.
"Very good Sora," Goofy cheered.
"Now try your magic," Donald quacked.
Sora nodded, and in one swift movement his Keyblade was held out in front of his body and was pointed at nowhere in particular. Taking another deep breath to steady him, Sora steadied his weapon and yelled the spell, "Fire!"
Flames the size of a blitz-ball erupted from the Keyblade and circled around his body. "Gack!" Donald's voice came, as his butt started to flame. "Hot, hot, hot, HOT!" he yelled staring at his behind with horror.
"Sorry," Sora cried, his expression somewhere between horror and laughter.
"Uh here ya go Donald," Goofy said dumping a bucket of water that seemingly came out of nowhere, on Donald's head.
"Watch where you aim," he yelled at Sora once he managed to calm down.
"I said I was sorry," Sora said glaring at Donald.
"Fine," Donald said as he crossed his arms "I'll let it go because you're a beginner but I'm going to have to teach you more about magic along this journey."
"Uh guys," a timid Yuffie said "shouldn't you be starting that journey soon?"
Sora, Donald and, Goofy turned around, shocked expressions decorated their faces. It seemed as though they had forgotten that Leon, Aerith, and Yuffie were standing right there. If you were standing behind our three heroes at that moment you would have seen big anime sweat drops on the back of their heads.
"Yeah, uh that would probably be a good idea." Sora said scratching the back of his head.
"We wish you all luck on your journey," Aerith said in her soft and gentle voice.
"And if you have any questions you're always welcome to come back." Leon said.
"Wow Squall I didn't know that you were so hospitable," Yuffie said.
"It's Leon," he growled.
"Uh speaking of questions," Sora said "where's the exit?"
Leon looked as if he wanted to pull his hair out. Wordlessly he pointed over Sora's shoulder.
"Oh, thanks!"
As Sora, Donald and Goofy turned around to run towards the World Exit, Leon, Yuffie, and Aerith stared at each other then at the trio that had just left. "They have a lot of learning to do." Leon finally said.
