Hermione woke up and went to work like any other day, she did her paperwork and ate lunch. She dropped some files of at Harry's office and got ready to leave. Life seemed so boring since she had broken up with Ron. No, she thought. Don't let Ron slip into your thoughts!
Her and Ron had agreed to break up and stay friends. It had been 2 weeks since the break up. Hermione had decided to avoid dating for awhile in respect of Ron and their "friendship". But Ron started dating Lavender Brown 2 days after the break up.
She got home and had dinner. She then went to her room to get on her pajamas. She had just reached her bedroom door when there was a knock on her front door.
Hermione went to the front door and found Draco Malfoy. Oh great, This is worse than thinking about Ron she thought. She had a crush on Draco Malfoy for quite some time but never had the courage to ask out the ferret.
Hermione then realized how beat up Draco looked, his nose was bleeding and he had been bruised badly. She wanted toto comfort him and fix his injuries but she didn't. Even if Ron didn't respect their friendship she did.
Right as she started to wonder what happened Draco said 1 sentence that cleared everything up. "You tell you boyfriend to stay away from me" Draco said weakly and then proceeded to faint.
