Say you'll share with my one love, one lifetime
Say the word and I will follow you
Share each day with me each night each morning
Their voices echoed in his mind. Torturing him. Taunting him. Tears fell from Erik's face. He held the rose Christine had dropped to his lips.
"She can't see me
She can't hear me
But one day, she'll know I exist
I will charm her 'till she loves me
Not a single joy will be missed
In her eyes, I'm just the Phantom
Soon my feelings will become clear"
That's all he was to her, angel, teacher…murderer. More tears fell. He couldn't live without her. Should would be his.
"If she knew how much I love her
She would stop and re-think her life
I'm the one who she should marry
She can't be another man's wife
One day I'll be brave and tell her "
What would she say if he told her? Would she laugh? Would she scream? Would she accept him? He wanted to know. He needed to know. He needed her. She was the only light in his life. Without her he was nothing. He didn't want to go back to life before Christine. He was too far in to do without her. Life without her was nonexistent. And he'd be damned before he let some fop of a Vicomte take her away from him.
Rage filled Erik and he crushed the rose in his hand.
"I'll destroy whoever comes near!"
I've been listening to Romeo et Juliette de la haine a l'amour for the past few days. Obviously, the musical is French. I found out there was an English adaption. I went to Youtube, found it and was pretty disappointed. The English version screwed up two of my favorite songs. However, this song She Can't See Me I thought was kind of pretty. It is sung by Tybalt who, in the musical, is in love with Juliet. There isn't a French counterpart to this song, this song replaced C'est pas ma faute which translates into (I think) It's not my fault. I don't think he even mentions his love for Juliet in that song. Anyway, I heard this song and I thought Erik could sing this so here it is! I hope you liked it! Please Review!
