There was a good distance between them. Their reflections slid out on the icy floor, a distortion of their true selves. For the first time since they had come to her palace, all was silent.

She wanted to move forward, but her legs would not follow her commands. All she could do was stand and watch her sister. What if she did something else? What if she really was a monster?

Anna was shivering. What had she done to her? Why would any good person ever do that?

For the first time, she saw what she had actually created. A monstrosity, an idea of something too good to be true. This was no palace, just an idea of one wrapped in a thick cover of ice.

For the first time in her life, Elsa shivered. This was the first time that she had ever felt the bitter bite of the cold.

In the end, she did not need to close the distance between them. Anna did it for her. She ran up to her, arms outstretched, a small smile on her face. The hug still shocked her.

"Elsa," Anna said. "Oh, Elsa, I have missed you so much."

The shiver did not continue. Elsa returned the hug. Her eyes fell on the strange blond boy, Anna's new friend. There was a look of relief on his face. Next to him was a jumping snowman, a look of pure glee on his face. To think that she had mocked that kind creature. If anything, it was her only good creation.

The two released the hug. Anna's cheeks were a bright pink. "Elsa," she said. "Oh, Elsa."

"And you," Elsa responded. "What about you, Anna?"
