To Use a Brother
You all probably despise me for starting yet another story. Oh well.
Chapter 1:
Kagome sat in the front of her yard under a tall fir tree. She had been waiting for him for two hours. He still hadn't shown up.
Kagome glanced back down at her fingernails and began to chip away the golden paint. The chips fell onto the grass, lightly coloring it.
He did this Thursday too. Today was Saturday. She was sure he could've made it this time. Guess not.
Kagome got off of the slightly wet ground and morosely walked to her house. When she reached the door, she turned around half expecting him to come around the corner on his motorcycle.
But it was only an expectation. It didn't really happen.
She went into her house. She went directly to the kitchen and got out her pint of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
Next stop, the living room to watch a sappy chick flick.
Kagome flopped down on the soft leather couch. Why was he late again? Did he have something important to do? If he did, why didn't he call and tell her?
'The rumors could be true.' Kagome's conscience said to her. 'What rumors?' She reasoned back.
'The one about him cheating on you?'
'He's not cheating on me...at least I hope."
'Ha! You aren't sure!'
"Hey Kagome. Why the sad face?" Sango, Kagome's twin sister, walked down the stairs.
First off, Sango and her were not identical. There were tons of differences. Like one, Sango's hair had a redder tint to it. Kagome's had a blue hue. Kagome's eyes were a light blue, sometimes slate gray color. Sango's were a mesmerizing brown.
Sango was taller by two inches. Kagome's feet were smaller by one size. Sango's hips were wider, and her bust was bigger than Kagome's.
Sango's hair was longer that Kagome's considerably.
And Sango's boyfriend would never cheat on her.
