She walks slowly, trying to be silent. Quite unsuccessfully, of course.
Eventually, she gets to the main door and pushes it lightly with the palm of her hand, wincing when it creaks as it opens. She steps outside awkwardly, hitting her knee against the door as she does does it, and grimacing.
Her face relaxes, though, as soon as she feels the night breeze, when it brushes her cheek and runs its fingers through her hair. It's a beautiful spring night.
She sees him easily, the moonlight making his dark hair shine, and his crooked smile gleam when he sees her.
She wants to run to where Ted's standing like the girls in her books do. She wants to jump onto him and somehow maintain her balance while kissing him with infinite love and glamour.
Of course, her love might be infinite but her clumsiness certainly is, and it ends up winning the battle and making her slip on the wet grass and fall flat on her back.
She groans, more because of the humiliation than the pain.
She opens her eyes to see him sitting down beside her, and then laying down so that his face is level with hers.
His eyes capture hers for a moment and she has to blink a few times to clear her head.
"Oh Merlin, this is humiliating. I'm sorry I fell, I wanted to run to your arms gracefully. I'm such a mess; and really I don't mean to be. My sisters are always laughing at me because I fall all the time and Mother gets mad at me because I ruin her clean house, but I really don't want to-"
His smile has been slowly growing throughout her ramble, and he's slowly turned so that he's facing her. He eventually interrupts her by placing his finger on her lips.
Her eyes open wide, and he has to stop himself from kissing her at that moment. "Shush, Andy. I don't care that you're messy. I like it, actually."
"But it's not graceful or elegant and-"
This time he does kiss her; softly, lovingly, even though the grass tickles his cheek and she's still in a bit of an awkward position.
When he pulls back, he has to take a few deep breaths before he puts a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Darling, I don't give a damn"

This was written for the Random Quotes challenge, using all three of my quotes, and for the Star Challenge, for Bellatrix. (I hope this counts as writing about Andromeda)
