A/n: It's seven because a) mini camp plus band camp = seven days, and b) seven is SUCH a better number than 12!
I wrote this my freshman year when I was incredibly bored. It turned out rather amusing.
PS - I really did get a twitch.


THE SEVEN DAYS OF BAND CAMP
To the tune of "The Twelve Days of Christmas"


On the first day of band camp, the director gave to me:
A twitch in my right eye

On the second day of band camp, the director gave to me:
Two warped knees
And a twitch in my right eye

On the third day of band camp, the director gave to me:
Three sticky valves
Two warped knees
And a twitch in my right eye

On the fourth day of band camp, the director gave to me:
Four broken nails
Three sticky valves
Two warped knees
And a twitch in my right eye

On the fifth day of band camp, the director gave to me:
Five frozen toes*
Four broken nails
Three sticky valves
Two warped knees
And a twitch in my right eye

On the sixth day of band camp, the director gave to me:
Six stressed-out friends
Five frozen toes
Four broken nails
Three sticky valves
Two warped knees
And a twitch in my right eye

On the seventh day of band camp, the director gave to me:
Seven sore arms... wait a second... oh, forget it
Six stressed-out friends
Five frozen toes
Four broken nails
Three sticky valves
Two warped knees
And a twitch in my right eye!
