Silence
By Cyborg_Number_18

In the silence of the early-autumn dawn,
There lies a hidden place,
Where every dream comes true.
In the silence of the space between two words,
There is a time of peace,
When one thinks of what word can best be used.
In the silence of a bedroom late at night,
A boy with eyes of midnight sleeps,
His nightmares forever filled with visions,
Of battles long past fought.
In the quiet of a darkened bedroom at a window-seat,
The boy now sits awake,
Gazing out at the stars in the night,
As though to ask them, "Why? Why me?".
In the silence after a battle long and tiring,
The reigning champions stand,
Their battle-armor worn, Their faces set with a determined mind.
Among them, In their silence, Stands a boy with midnight eyes,
Casting his gaze around the descimated streets,
His conscience nagging at him in a way he cannot comprehend.
In the silence of a living room lit only by a fire in the hearth,
The midnight-eyed boy sits among his comrades after the battle.
He is among them and accepted,
For he shares their silence well.

A/N: Okay, anyways, that's it. Umm.. If you couldn't tell, the "midnight-eyed boy" was of course Rowen Hashiba. Please R&R! Or e-mail me and my cohorts at RowenHashiba@Hotmail.com and tell me what you think! Either one is fine! Thanx! *18*
