Extremely short first chapter, I know. Just giving you a little feel first...
Olivia sat comfortably on her couch; her hair was up in a messy bun while sporting a white tank top and loose fitting sweat pants. It was a rare occasion that she had a full day off of work, and today was that rare occasion. And to celebrate that rare occasion, she was going to do absolutely nothing. Except sit on her couch and stare at the wall at the confusion that had suddenly become her life.
Never in her forty plus years of life would she ever think she could possibly have feelings for someone of the same sex as her.
She had been with men her whole life.
She was straight.
Or was she?
Ever since the undercover stint at the sperm bank with Amanda Rollins, ever since that hand touch and gazing of the eyes, Olivia felt like she couldn't snap out of character and was starting to wonder if maybe she was developing feelings for the blonde southerner.
The rational part of her brain told her she was loneley and just wanted a friend. But, the thoughts Olivia had about Amanda were not exactly "friendly" thoughts. And this startled her.
Amanda, for the most part of her life, dated men. It wasn't until becoming a detective and seeing the gruesome, horrible things men were capable of doing that made her switch teams.
And she too had found her brain being held captive by the thought of Olivia Benson.
Amanda knew Olivia was straight. She had known about her and David Haden and she had heard numerous stories about Elliot Stabler, and although they claim that nothing romantic had happened between them, it was pretty obvious that they had some sort of feelings for one another.
Amanda down-played her gayness as much as possible. Not because she was ashamed, but because it was no one's business-she wasn't one to flaunt her sexuality.
And so Amanda sat hunched over on her bed, head in her hands, trying to rid all of the thoughts of Olivia Benson.
After being undercover together, both women had noticed the change in the relationship between them. Not saying there was much of a relationship to begin with, but after wards, they felt more comfortable around each other. Amanda noticed that Olivia was more accepting of being out in the field together, and they seemed to be closer in this weird almost friends sort of way.
Slowly letting out a breath of air, Amanda got out of bed, got dressed and headed for the door.
Teaser chapter! If you'd like to see more, please let me know. If this story continues, there's a chance the rating will go to a soft M later. I dunno yet.
