It was a dark, windy, and cold night up at lovers lane in the town of Sunnydale. It was also scarey, there had been few reports of a werewolf crawling around. But that didn't stop our favorite couple. " Gi...Giles. Stop that tickles." Buffy laughed." Well thats what you get my dear for being so smart." They had been dating for a while now and really loved each other. They just had to be very secretive till graduation. They didn't even tell Willow and Xander. After laughing for a minutes, they started kissing tenderly."Giles." Buffy said giggling while pulling away we have to look out for the werewolf so we can catch him, you also have to help me study for my chemistry exam."" Alright my dear, i'm sorry, I just can't stop. I love you so much." She smiled." I know, I love you too, I don't know what I would do if we got caught or if you got in trouble, I don't want you getting in trouble for me."" Luv, don't worry. Nothings going to happen. By the way, i have somthing for for your birthday."" But my bithdays not until Friday." She said confused." I know, but if they see me giving this to you at your birthday party then they will really suspect somthing. So i'm giving you this as a early birthday present from your boyfriend. Friday you'll get a birthday present from your stuffy old libarean friend."" Wait a minute, first of all, your not old and stuffy, and secand of all thank you." She kissed him. " Here." He handed here a square shaped red velvet box. Buffy smiled." What is it." She said." Open it." He said smiling. Buffy opened it and alsmost fainted when she saw it." Oh Giles, it's so beautiful." It was a diamond ring attatched to a chain. "It was my grandmothers engagment ring, I thought that I would give you somthing that would be sentimental."" Is this a promise ring." He smiled." Would you like it to be."She smiled and nodded yes."Then it is. They kissed for awhile. Then before going home they decided to go seperate directions and check for the werewolf before going home."Giles! Giles!" Buffy yelled. Giles heard this and came running."Buffy!" Finally he found her hanging upside down with some guy pointing a gun at her." Let me down."' Sir I demand you let her down this instant." Just then the man cut her down and she ran to Giles. " Well well. What have we here. Old man rollin around in the sheets with a pretty little thing like you. " The man said as he got closer to Buffy. Giles was mad. He punched the guy in the face and the guy ran off." Touch her again and you won't like me." Giles yelled at the smiled and she turned to Giles and kissed him." My hero." She said. Giles smiled." Come on, I'll drive you home." And they were off.
