I do not own young justice
It was a normal day at Gotham Academy. Students were talking, jocks were tossing around a football, and the popular girls were huddled together making comments of the student body. A raven haired boy with warm mischievous ocean blue eyes was talking by the vegetation surrounding the school with a girl with fire-red hair with similar blue eyes.
"How was your weekend Dick?" Barbara Gordon asked. "Same old same old," The boy replied, "went to another boring Gala." "I pity you." "No you don't Babs, but you should you. You only have to go to a few of those things a year!" Barbara laughed at her friend's antics, but was cut short when the school bullies surrounded a girl she never seen before.
Barbara turned back to her friend, but he was already walking over to the circle of kids surrounding the girl. She sighed following him knowing that it was pointless trying to stop him from directing the attention towards him. He always did this, saying smart comments making the bullies feel dumb and they either start hitting him with words or with fists. Either way he always gave the poor kid time to scramble away or for me to drag them. But this time something was different?
