This really doesn't deserve to be up here.
It's pretty crappy and short. I didn't really want it to be too long, though, but I just wasn't up for writing anymore. Thus creating this wonderful piece of crap. It is about Edward, although it's in second person. I love working in that perspective, and I had to put something up. This is no where near good, so I'm warning you now: I'm aware of how much I've butchered the second person style. I think the tenses get jumbled around often too.
That being said, I just wanted to put this up for fun. I hope you all enjoy it!
Oh, one more week til the movie comes out!
Disclaimer: I do not own Twilight. I do own a poster, though.
There were so many questions you wanted to ask. Was she going to live? Was she going to die? Well, you know that was for certain. You glanced down at her body which began to slow down in motion. Just another sign that she was making her way toward death road.
What were you thinking? You've heard so many voices break through the barrier of your mind, but you often were shocked to hear your own voice erupt. She had always thought your voice was strong, but you it was the voice of a weak animal, a weak monster.
You had no answer for the questions. All you could do was look up at Carlisle who cautiously and optimistically watched her. It wasn't that Carlisle was excited for this horrific event; you knew that. He was just hoping for the best like he always did. You wish that you had the optimism Carlisle had. You wish that you could seem as natural and human as he. You wish you were human.
Being human seemed to be the easiest answer, yet the hardest to comprehend.
There were so many things you could have done; should have done is more like it. How stupid could you be? She got to you, though. If you were a much stronger person, none of this would be happening. You would be enjoying a quiet day with her by your side. Maybe you would be studying together. But you were just a little too weak. Everyone is at some time, but you feel like you're always the weakest link. You're the one causing all of the problems. If she had never even met you, none of this would be happening.
But would you really have wanted that? To not have so many marvelous experiences? You've been isolated for quite some time now, and you've never felt the way you do when you're around her. She was the one that made you keep going. She was the one that made you hold your head up. And now, she was the one making you feel tormented and foolish.
What it all comes down to is selfishness. You were the most selfish person to have ever walked on the interesting earth, and you regretted to know that you would be around for eternity. You've had this battle for a good amount of years. One day you're the hero; the next, you're the villain. There were some days where you were on top of the world. Nothing was going to stop you. You went out for lunch. After your meal, you realized what a horrible person you were. No, not a person. You were never even close to a person, so no one could dare to call you that.
A person, by your terms, was someone who knew what they were doing. One who showed some emotion and had some conscious before they went off to stalk their prey and drink its blood. You lacked all of the things a human should have. But you; you're a vampire. One of the worst ones. Yes, you may not have developed an appetite consisting of only humans, but you've gone down that road.
She started to twitch. All of your thoughts ceased when her brows furrowed in pain. Why were you so stupid? You always thought of yourself. No one else, but yourself.
"Edward? You ok?"
You didn't look over at Jacob. You could hear everything that was running through his head.
"Man, he's really going crazy."
Silly, Jacob. He hasn't realized that you've been crazy the day you stepped into this ludicrous life.
