Anyway, on with this story. The title is not very good but I really couldn't think of anything. This is AU Kyo/Kagura, I actually like better Kyo/Tohru but I seem to find it hard to write my favorite pairings. Kagura is such an awesome character; I totally love her XD

You Will Never Ever Know.
He loved her. He didn't just put up with her or learn to live with her slightly overbearing obsession with him… he loved her.
He loved her so much it hurt his head just thinking about it. He loved her... and she would never ever know.
Because he loved her too much to put her in that kind of danger.
He would move mountains just to get her to smile.
He would sit on the roof at sunset, wishing she were there with him, knowing that he loved her more then the sun, moon, stars and sky above.
Kyo loved Kagura... but he loved her too much to see her get hurt.
And if they knew he loved her back, just like she loved him, she would get hurt.
"You killed your mother."
"Its disgusting."
"Like rotting flesh."
"See, it doesn't even cry for its poor mother."
"It's your fault."
"Monster..."
He had heard it all, every insult, every blame they could lay on him, everything they could possibly make his fault they did.
He could never be happy. He knew that was a fact, they would never allow it, Akito would never allow it.
He was the Cat, a monster, he was supposed to be miserable. At least that's what they thought he deserved. And Kagura, sweet, strong, beautiful Kagura, his Kagura... she would make him happy, as happy as it was possible to be, and they simply would not let that happen.
He knew what had happened to the girl Hatori loved...
What happened to Kisa… and she was only a little girl...
And what had happened to Rin when Akito found out about Rin and Haru.
He was the Cat; if Akito found out it would be far worse then anything that had happened to the others.
He would not, could not, let any harm befall Kagura because of him. He wouldn't let it happen.
So he would sit alone on the roof and wish she was there with him but he would never do anything about it.
He would hold her hand and act like it was a horrible struggle, knowing that the only struggle was him trying not to suddenly wrap his arms around her and kiss her.
He would act like he hated every minute she was in the same room as him.
He would throw away her every care and affection thoughtlessly, like he didn't care.
He would do all these things; he would do them for her.
Because the Cat was never meant to be happy, and the Boar would make him so, so happy.
Kyo loved Kagura... more then the world itself...
And he would never ever let her know...
He loved her too much.
