Chasing Sasuke

Naruto trudged into his apartment. Covered in the new bandages the medic-nins had to put on his new injuries Sasuke gave him. ' Damn teme!' He thought as he fell onto his bed. 'He didn't have to kick me in the ribs.' His eyes slid closed. Darkness taking over his concious mind.

Naruto woke up in darkness. Only the trees could be seen.
' Why aren't the stars out?' He asked himself. ' Where am I?' Naruto began to walk in a random direction.
" Where are you going?" A voice asked him. Naruto stiffened. ' That voice!' He thought. Naruto turned around, already knowing what to expect.
And he was dead on.
There stood Sasuke, a smirk on his face. " Dobe." The Uchiha said, causing Naruto to clench his teeth. " Teme!" He shouted, running towards Sasuke. Sasuke just smirked and took off running.
" Come back here coward!" Naruto shouted. He heard Sasuke laugh. " Me?" Sasuke asked. " A coward? How?" Naruto growled. " You're running for one!" Sasuke said nothing, waitng to hear Naruto's answer as they ran.
" For another, you left the village and don't want to come back!" " Dobe!" Sasuke shouted. " I do not want to return because I want power!" " Liar!" Naruto shouted. " You are powerful! you're just afraid that you'll die as soon as you walk through the gates!"
" That's what happens to traitors, Naruto." Sasuke said, slowing down like Naruto. " I won't let that happen!" Naruto shouted.
" And why's that?" Sasuke asked. " Because," Naruto said, not caring that they have slowed down to walking. " I love you."
After that was said, Naruto relized that he was standing next to Sasuke. " I thought so." Sasuke said, turning to face Naruto.
" I have a couple of confessions-" Sasuke was cut off by Naruto's lips which planted themselves onto his. He was shocked at first, but returned the kiss just as passionetly.
" Well," Sasuke said when they broke apart. " That was one."
" What's the other?" Naruto asked dreamily. " I've learned a jutsu that allows you to enter a person's dreams." Sasuke said, looking at Naruto's shocked face. " This is really me. And I want you to know that I will be back soon... For you."
Naruto's eyes began to water. He hugged the Uchiha, tears of joy spilling slowly out. Sasuke hugged back, neither speaking a word. Both letting their actions relay words and emotions.
Naruto felt a weird tugging on his entire body. " Wha?" Naruto said surprised, looking at Sasuke who was fading in and out.
" I'm afraid that you're going to wake up." Sasuke said, fading out completly. " No!" Naruto said as he was rapidly sucked in through a white tunnel.

" Sasuke!" Naruto shouted when he woke up. Falling from his eyes.

Sasuke woke up. " Naruto." He whispered, touching his fingers to his lips.
